Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your background?
I'm from the Pacific West Coast of Canada, currently working in the film industry.
When and how did you get into watches?
I've loved photography and watches for a long time. When I had my first child, I was stuck at home for the most part, so I started playing around with watch photography. The macros I took got me really interested in the micro engineering and that's when I started to take a deep dive into the world of horology.
Apart from watches and photography, what are some of your other passions or hobbies?
I love building scale models when I get a chance, anything from cars to military to robots. It's a joy to work on intricate small objects, add my own artistic touch and see everything come together at the end. Come to think of it, it's the same reason why I love watchmaking so much too.
What is your favourite watch brand and why?
My favourite brand is Romain Gauthier. I just love their design language and the incredible finishing throughout their watches.
What is the one watch in your collection you never thought you would own, and why?
It would be the Lange 1 Moonphase. It is difficult to buy ALS in Canada, but one showed up locally as a preowned in like new condition. They were also willing to take the watches I wanted to sell as part of a trade in. Basically all the stars aligned that day and everything worked in my favour to get this grail watch of mine!
Are there any specific watch complications or features that fascinate you the most?
It would be the tourbillon. Even before I got into watches, I've heard of the tourbillon and loved the way it ticks on the dial side. To this day, it is still my dream complication to get.
Do you have any daily rituals related to watches?
Every morning I would choose which watch to wear depending on what I'm doing that day, and the strap to go with my outfit. This is when quick release spring bars really come in handy!
Why did you decide to join the Delugs Ambassador program?

4) Tapestry Grey Ostrich Signature Strap: Exotic leather but not as formal as gator. Great match for a lot of looks.
5) Light Grey Epsom Slim Strap: Great way to dress down formal watches while still looking stylish. It's on my gold Cartier Tank Louis a lot.
