Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your background?

I am just an Aussie watch girl / watch enthusiast that loves taking photos. Not just watches. I spend time shooting landscapes, lifestyle and family photos. I used to have a wedding photography business years ago.

When and how did you get into watches?

I have always loved watches, a passion that was inherited from my Dad. His love for Seiko is where it all started. He work a Seiko “Tank” on his wedding day. The first watch he bought for me was a Seiko Kinetic. A watch I still have. My real love for mechanical watches started with my first Rolex. An Oyster Perpetual 36mm. I purchased it preowned in 2019. It started me on a spiral of collecting watches.

Apart from watches and photography, what are some of your other passions or hobbies?

Other passions of mine. I play guitar, I love spending time away at the beach and relaxing. I love to spend time with my family. I also collect old wares / antiques. This collection has grown and is typically used in many of my watch photos.

What is your favourite watch brand and why?

This is a hard one to answer. If I had to pick a brand it would be Tudor however I have a soft spot for Rolex, Oris and Omega.

What is the one watch in your collection you never thought you would own, and why?

The Milgauss Z Blue. I was on a waitlist for it for a long time. I hoped to get a call before it was discontinued and never thought it would happen. Luckily just before it was discontinued I received the call from the AD.

Are there any specific watch complications or features that fascinate you the most?

I am typically a time only watch lover. I do love Chronographs. At the moment I am constantly eying off a JLC Revero Duoface and a Rolex GMT Explorer 2 or a Pepsi.

Do you have any daily rituals related to watches?

Yes - too many to talk about. The one I definitely do each day is set the watch to the exact second.

Why did you decide to join the Delugs Ambassador program?

I want to elevate the Delugs' presence in Australia. There isn't a lot of female watch photographers in Australia. I have a goal that being part of the program will benefit both segments.
